Judy began her wine career in San Diego, presenting hand crafted wines to restaurants and hotels. She shared her unique educational experience of working with and learning directly from the founders of California’s cutting edge wineries with buyers and staff.
A move to Ohio spurred her love affair with European wines. Here, she launched multiple new brands with a small distributor. After establishing distributor authorization to sell to the major grocery chains and exponentially growing wine shop and restaurant distribution, she was tapped to join the Robert Mondavi team. A series of promotions landed her in Boston via the Northwest. In 2005, Judy joined the Raymond family to expand the presence of their portfolio in the Northeast.
In 2010, Judy realized the BEST way to fulfill her passion for enjoying fine wine and great food with interesting people was to embark on her greatest adventure yet. Best Year Ever Wine Agency was created to help artisanal wine & cider companies and distributors define and achieve their sales goals while respecting their brand and company images.
She has earned the title “Certified Specialist of Wine” from the Society of Wine Educators and a Level 3 Wine certification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.
She enjoys sharing her passion for food and wine through private tastings and corporate events.
